About Matchtype Studio

Matchtype Studio is a free, browser-based tool for Google Ads professionals. It converts keyword lists between broad, phrase, and exact match formats instantly — no sign-up, no data uploads, no cost.

Why we built it

Managing keyword match types in Google Ads is tedious. If you have a list of 200 keywords and need all three match type variants, you're looking at a lot of manual formatting — or a clunky spreadsheet formula. Matchtype Studio eliminates that entirely.

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. Your keywords are never sent to a server. The tool processes your input locally using JavaScript and outputs all three match type formats side by side.

We store your keyword list and preferences in your browser's localStorage so your work persists between sessions. You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings.
